IFS Broker, at Higher Level

In October 2026 we passed the IFS Broker audit at Higher Level. IFS Broker is the GFSI-recognised standard for companies that buy and resell food. The auditor looked at how we choose and review our producers, how we record specifications, how we handle complaints and how we would recall a lot if that were ever needed.

Higher Level is the highest level at which you can pass IFS. We send the certificate on request.

Every ube batch goes to Eurofins

Every new batch of ube powder goes to Eurofins first, an independent laboratory, including a test for synthetic colourants. Ube is purple by nature and we want to be able to prove it.

You get the result as a CoA (certificate of analysis) with your delivery. We also still taste every new batch ourselves.

HACCP

We operate a documented HACCP plan per Regulation (EC) 852/2004.

EU Organic

Selected products are EU Organic certified. Organic certification applies to specific products rather than to our company or our production as a whole, so the product page tells you whether that product is covered.

25 years of experience in food

Big Moca started in 2025, but our family has worked in food for 25 years. We are part of Yogho Yogho Group, which also includes Yogho Yogho and Powerful People.

What we learned there about sourcing, labelling and food safety is what we now use for ube, matcha, pandan and hojicha.
