What is ube?
Ube is a purple yam that is used a lot in Filipino cooking. It tastes soft and nutty, with a hint of vanilla. We sell it as a powder that you stir into milk, batter or dough.
Does it contain caffeine?
Ube and pandan contain no caffeine. Matcha and hojicha are tea and do contain caffeine. Hojicha is roasted and feels milder to most people.
How much powder do I use per latte?
About 5 to 10 grams per glass, depending on how strong you like it. A 100 gram bag makes around 15 lattes.
Is the powder sweetened?
No, all our powders are unsweetened. That way you decide how much sugar or syrup goes in.
When will my order ship?
Order before 23:59 and we ship the next day from The Hague. Shipping in the Netherlands and Belgium is free from €35, below that it costs €6.95. In the rest of the EU it is €12.50, free from €60.
Can I order as a business?
Yes. With a business account you see the bulk prices per kilo and find your invoices with your orders. Want to taste first? Order samples for €5 each.
